  1. As usual for your photos, much beauty and depth. Love the mountain in the background.

    1. Thank you Bob. It's part of the Maam Turk range of mountains. You'll probably get to see them when you go.

  2. These photos are outstanding and, if you hadn't said, I would never have guessed they were in Ireland. I think it's the trees that throw me off. Something about the whole scene evokes an other-worldly feeling for me.

    1. Ahh yes. The west coast is way more dramatic. The photo is taken about 30 miles from where I went to Uni. And while I wasn't out thataways every weekend I was out for a good few.
It's considered due to the composition of the rocks that those mountains extend up through the west coast of Scotland through the Highlands and into Norway. Then going the otherway, Newfoundland and Maine and on down to Georgia.
Mind you, that's going back a bit, 'twasn't today or yesterday :-D.

    1. Yes. I went up through Galway city, and had a wee stop in Clifden to get some food and liquids before I went out to Omey.

  4. Breath taking! I love your photos always but those two above I love more than the rest! If I had to chose between them, I would go with the one in landscape position.

    1. Thank you Ed. There's a bit more contrast in that one.
