There is something off with blogger these last few weeks. I noticed that the notification for comments don't come through to the email. Anyone else noticed that. Or is this just the template I'm working.
I love watching birds or bats working like this. I think of all the insects they're eating.
I saw on another blog where someone commented Blogger had made some changes causing this problem and they posted the following solution:
To fix it, go to Design, then click on settings. Under settings click on Posts, comments and sharing. Then in the middle of the screen you will scroll down to Comment Moderation. There is a spot under that where it says e-mail comment moderation to - and there is a box under it. If your e-mail is already in it, take it out and save it with no e-mail. Then go back to the same spot, enter your e-mail again and save it again. That should work, and you should start getting e-mails again.
Here I think these are the first brood learning to fly, yes to catch fly's but mostly the learning thing. They can roost in the ruin at night, or when they get exhausted.
OK, I've tried that. I wasn't moderating at all before so there was no mail in that box, only the account mail bit that was attached to the blog itself.
I finally found a solution that worked. If you go to blogger Settings, Email, Comment Notification Email, remove your email address and save it. Initially I just retyped my email address in that box and saved it but I never got an email asking if I wished to be notified as blogger described. However if I choose myself from the "Choose From Contacts" link, it immediately sent me a confirmation email and then when I subscribed to that, it started working. The only difference I can see is when I choose from contacts, it includes my blogger username in quotation marks before my email address. Hope this works for you Vince.
I don't think it worked like it did before. It put the comment into moderation. What was happening before was the blog itself would automatically bang a mail off.
Ha ha! Your title had me thinking this was a different kind of video. :). They’re sure busy aren’t they! Where is this? I’ve had comment issues too, for the last few months. There were always one or two commenters in my blogger history that I didn’t get notified when they commented. The rest however did until just 2-3 months ago. I’ll have to try Kelly’s tips and see.

DeleteI've been having the same problem with comments. I'm off to give it a try.

I believe it's the true meaning of gyrating not some chick opening and closing her tailend to a bouncy beat:-).
DeleteIt's the Abbey in Callen Co Kilkenny.
On the blog I've been reading a lot to get the mails back, and the list above from Kelly is the only one that seems to have some sort of reaction.
Love the video and really enjoyed the music that accompanies it.
