Atheists

non-theists, disbelievers, unbelievers, heretics, and assorted sceptic's must be holding their collective breaths today, awaiting the moment when Trump, puts his hand on the Bible.
What with what they think Trump is in reality, the internal wish for a flash of flame must be warring with their core.

  1. In theory, none of those supposedly give credit to any higher power that could send that lightning bolt. (though you wouldn't think that from how vehemently some atheists rail against God, considering they're not supposed to even believe in him)

Personally I'm just ready to move on. I didn't vote for the man, but he's shortly to become the President of my country and I still respect the office. I'm sick of the whining and complaining about every single thing. In many folks' eyes, he can do nothing right and they seem to hope he fails. That's like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Whether I like him or not is irrelevant. I do wish him success.

  2. I've been wrong about every aspect of this election so take it with a grain of salt when I offer this prediction. I think the Republican party will play nicely with the Current Occupant until he steps on their toes and then there will be a bipartisan effort to impeach him and make Joe Pence, whom Congress loves, the President. What I can't predict is if the Trump supporting crowd is one that will riot or chalk it up as Government as usual and go back to wherever they came from.

I listened to bits a pieces of the inauguration as I was installing a new microwave but I also taped it so I can watch it with my 10 year old who is interested in the political process. Like Kelly, I didn't vote for him but I do support him as my president (even if I refer to him as the Current Occupant) and I hope he can be the first in my lifetime to lead this country in a positive direction.

  3. I feel similar to how I felt in 1992 when Bill Clinton was inaugurated for his first term. Not happy about it but nothing I can do about it so I'll hope for the best.

  4. I haven't paid one iota of attention to it today. Did he burst into flames, I haven't heard?

  5. I'll be honest guys, but my best wish is that there is nothing but boredom for the next few years and that the two houses are returned to the Democrats. Something I frankly don't see occurring.

  6. I wonder if the reason so many members of congress didn't show up is that they were afraid of stray lightning bolts...

  7. On another note...I'm trying to upload a 20second iPhone video to a post on blogger and it's taking forever and then once it's there it's still not really there because it won't actually post. You've put very large videos up...what am I doing wrong!?!?

    1. You need a Youtube A/C, and load it to there, then pull it from there. You can do it in Google Photos too, but I don't know how from there.

    2. Ok, thanks. I have YT but just never posted anything on it because I don't want my silly little videos out there to be searched and what not. I know in the past I've been able to just upload from my files, but nothing was working this time. I did do the youtube video as private, but not sure if all can see. I will have to see. :) Thanks for responding.
