Beautiful. Happy St. Patrick's Day! I know it isn't that big of a thing in Ireland, but it is huge in Savannah where we boast the second largest SPD parade in the world...
I've been reading about that. And come to the conclusion that the parade's were viewed as subversive, to both State and church from the early 1800s. For the very reason they were so important to the Irish in the US they were seen as a danger here.
What a fun photo! I hope you had a nice St. Patrick's Day. Your man Kenny (not sure if you are a fan or not) gave 45 a little scolding yesterday, and I loved every minute of it! I tip my hat!
Yeah, he's a monumental tit. If he wasn't such an idiot, but he opened his mouth during the election and attacked Trump. Only to find he won, leaving him having to visit him on St Patrick's day. So it was either a groveling apology, or this. Irish politicians have this picture of their visits to St P's day festivities and it's effects upon the Irish diaspora in those countries. As if someone is going to vote for Trump simply because ... . Yeah, Irish people in the US might like the idea of the Irish PM visiting, but if he didn't I truly doubt it would matter. Why does the POTUS of the US keep doing it then I hear you say. Well I expect it costs nothing. And it might cost some immeasurable something if they decided stop it.
Ha! But come on now, if we're being honest who's got the bigger tit?!? ;). It was just good to hear someone call ours out on his BS as no one here has done it. I'm planning on doing a bit of traveling this summer and am hoping to perfect my Canadian accent before I get out of dodge!
So pretty! Do the flowers really have a green tint to them or is that something to do with the lighting?
ReplyDeleteNope, they are a creamy yellow that's fairly unique. I went with a hint of the day that's in it March 17th. :-)
DeleteThanks Ed.
