Yes, I schlepped a tripod up so I could get a pan. An even pan. But it was truly cold up there and where I was was in the lee of the mound so wasn't getting the brunt of it. This camera has good video, but I have to learn how to make it properly. Soon. Loads of people. I expect it was their yearly climb for the new year.
What is the object that if wavering slightly in the breeze at about the 1:07 mark? It almost looks like a deer leg or something but since it is so close to your tripod, I'm guessing it must be something you brought along.
Looks quite cold and blustery! Were you set up on a tripod that you could rotate?

ReplyDeleteBreeze my eye. That's my walking stick being shook like reed in a lazy south east wind. The wind is why the music :-)
DeleteHad the same question as Ed. And I might add you picked beautiful music to accompany this most compelling video.
