Wow! You are still above ground and kicking around! Sometimes I always wonder what happened when a blog I read goes silent with no real word as to why and tend to imagine the worst. I hope your reason is just because you've been incredibly busy in your dark room and showing your pictures in exhibits.
There was a few reasons. I was targetted on another social media outlet and left the lot for some time. But also I felt I was winding down for a few years. And as you said quite busy too.
Nice work. As with Ed, I had wondered what happened and glad to see you are still creating beautiful art. btw, I highly recommend reading Makoto Fujimura's "Art and Faith: A Theology of Making". I plan on reviewing it in a week or two. I am now mostly posting at a new blog: https://fromarockyhillside.com

DeleteIt threw me off to see you in a blog post instead of on Instagram! I'm glad to see this, though. I'm enjoying your watercolor offerings.
ReplyDeleteChuckle.
DeleteI got going with that medium far faster than I'd imagined possible.

ReplyDeleteThanks Jeff. I might just see about that book. And I saw you had moved to Walton's Mountain, but I didn't want to intrude.
