I've been getting really odd things to photograph. They are almost like drawing exercises. Here though what I was really surprised about was the star flare you see on the tips of the fibres in the reds and greens nearest the lense. These are from the blades inside the the lense catching the joint where one blade meets the nest one. And it turned out a bit prettier than I thought it would. Mind you I expect shooting that 70s icon is like shooting the moon.
