  1. It's not one I've seen before. Where is it?

Beautiful. I love church architecture - whether current or in ruins.

    1. It's a franciscan friary down for where I had my exhibition in Clonmel.

  2. Yes, I am curious where it is as well.
I haven't attended church an ages, but I do find them beautiful and enjoy learning about their history. This one's windows are lovely. It looks like it's been modernized some? How'd you get a picture without any people in it? Did you you shoo them out to get the shot? ;) My church photos always have people in them.

    1. They are very hard to photograph for they are either too dark or too bright. In that if you see the interior the glass is blown out. And if you go for the stained glass the interior is as dark as a cave.

Normally churches are empty except for mass and other services. You might see the odd person in, but usually you are alone.
Yes, modernised. It seems since Vatican 2 the fabric of the buildings have undergone three internal changes. In Paul VI's time the altar was turned to face the people. In JP2's time the railings that delimited the sanctuary was removed. Since the dias that raised the priest was lowered.
