Kells and Kilree. A video.

  1. Awww... your video is too long for me to be able to watch with our download capabilities. (especially right now since I screwed up and used up what little we had for this timeframe) :( Someday. Someday I'll have true high-speed with endless streaming capabilities.

I'm disappointed. I assume "Kells" refers to the "Book of Kells".

    1. Yeah, I went a bit heavy today. Now I've real broadband since May I can upload at decent sized film. And with Photoshop allowing video editing I can stitch shorts into something quite long. Still, in the scheme of things I'm about 5 years out in the scale of whats usual. Nowadays, a half hour is the measure, in that you have .30, one hour, 1.30 as the usual sort of sizing.
Nope, not the book but Kells in Kilkenny.

  2. Yes, it was a long one. :) I'm most impressed that you are knowledgeable enough to talk about the area for 18 minutes, while filming. The area is very pretty and so interesting. I know those of us here say it often on your posts, but the "oldness" of what is nearby is almost hard to believe. The photo at the top is beautiful. Your skies have been really nice lately. Have you found your new editing software is helping with that or have the skies just been cooperating recently.

    1. It's from really had to impossible to see the back screen on the camera so the best you can do is ballpark it. On Photoshop. yes you can do edits but it's not as useful as the program I studied last year Premier Pro. I think you have to import each clip and just edit that. Or perhaps you must chop it up and then edit one bit at a time. You see if you edit for exposure if part of the clip is low, say, then because you turn the pan you will blow the thing to a white-out 10 secs later.
I've yet to grow the stones to stand before the lense ;-). Soon though, I have to figure out how to pan the camera so I can talk and pan at the same time.
Plus, I have to decide on a 'look' as my fashion isn't what one might call up to date. Mmm, perhaps sans any date might be a better call.
Thanks for viewing. I won't make anything as long again. I could probably have gotten two out of that and even edited more off them.
