Thanks. A bit of a difference. The truth is someplace in the middle. There was times when I could see the valley floor in a sort of letterbox between the dark of the cloud and the mountain itself.
Thank you. I wanted to get as much of the depth of the place in as I could. You simply cannot do this with a phone unless conditions are prime. And they were far from that. Still the cam-phone ones are moody as all ... .
If it was cold it would've been quite nasty indeed. But we were getting the tail of some winter storm, Caroline, I believe. Here I was coming down out of the cloud but not quite all the way through. You can see the same shot, ishy, in the series from yesterday.
Oh my... that's incredible! Beautiful!

DeleteWow! That's something! That cloud/fog above you looks ominous. It's amazing what that bit of light does for the landscape.

I have Les Mis on the telly over me ear. That Amanda Seyfried has a good little voice.
DeleteThat was good film. I don't usually like musicals in movie form, but Les Mis was good.
DeleteBeautiful shot, Vince, and you're certainly right about one Amanda!
