Great shot! So close. Is this the mommy or the daddy? You're very nice to let them hang out at your place. I've got some mourning doves eyeing my backyard/patio as a new home and I'm not terribly happy about it. I just know I'm going to find one has died somewhere.

DeleteI really don't know which of them. Or even if it is the mom or dad, it might be one of the multitude of kids.
I expect the birds have realised the dog will keep away anything nasty like cats, so may well be a bit of evolution :-).
I love this! If I could ever find a way to keep the blasted squirrels out of my bird feeders, I would enjoy them much more than I do!
