Even I'm pretty darn impressed with what this cloud did.

  1. Yah, I'd say that is pretty impressive. Just beautiful! It looks quite dark closest to you. Did you get rained on while taking it? :)
The visible sun rays make the picture look magical.

    1. I have the camera pointed down hill at an angle greater than forty five degree's. If it was level it would be all black. I know that it's not a great photo, but it was trying to show the sheer madness of the walk. And just why It's such a very surprising walk no matter how many times I have been on it. The weekend before I went up without the camera, except for the phone for the visibility was 200 feet at ground level, but above the sky was so clear it was like when you fly over cloud.

    2. Such a different perspective from up high. From down below you'd think the clouds went on for days. We get that at the airport with the marine layer off the ocean. The planes fly a second through it and it's blue sky. Even more surprising when it's raining. Your mountain must attract the clouds. It's interesting how that happens, as not all do.
