The Beverly Hillbillies were funny. Sadly, he's not!
What he's doing to the Wild Lands out West is unconscionable. Utah in particular. That's nothing more than a raid by a bunch of latterday pretend barons. The thing is one could go on and on and one can't live like that. You just have to hope, and yes pray, that like the Hillbillies that this is a surreal aboration and that plans are being put in place to correct anything he does. This is what I have on my Twitter motto 'hoc quoque transibit', and on Facebook the actual motto of von Galen when he became bishop of Munster and decried the neopaganism of the national socialist ideology. And I'll be damned if a bunch of idiotic fools in the US and elsewhere use the stance von Galen against the Nazi's and deploy it the attempt to socialise medicine. Did you know these gobshites are attacking Médecins Sans Frontières. What sort of twist do you need in the noodle to do that.
I have often wondered if those that elected him expected him to be anything different or just didn't care. I fully expected him to be exactly the way he has been.
I think he's not the profoundist thinker in the world. But what he is is somebody that can take decisions. And I think the republican party has figured out with his gatekeepers gone they can present tilted options to him and him not know or even care that the information is skewed. A bit like being give the option of choosing a whip or a cane to be beaten, the question of the beating isn't in play. This can be a strength given honest inputs, but dangerous if the inputs aren't. Indeed, the people feeding the machine tend to believe they are fundamental and they can and have control. But the ecosystem tends to change and become extreme very rapidly.
