    1. I had a feeling the sneering that was going on in the media circles would backfire.

  2. Since my dreams have been dashed of having someone I can vote for this fall that I don't have to hold my breath prior to doing so, I dreaming of a strong third party candidate that can unite the middle and send a message to both major parties.

    1. I wondered if that would occur. But it seemed once Sanders came out as a strong option that had a knock-on to the Reps.
I keep asking myself who is 'status quo', and my twopence worth is all of the but for Sanders. And now I know he's not in any way your cup-o-tea, what he is is a more locality sourced voice as distinct to those annealed to big business, finance and civil service. Mind you I had small hope for Obama, but even I thought he wouldn't be quite so deflected.
I still don't get how Black people are quantitatively worse under him than Bush.

  3. I'm probably the most conservative of your readers (except for perhaps on some social issues) and at this point I can't say I won't vote for Trump, but I also can't say I will. What I CAN say is that I will not/cannot vote for Hillary. I just have to see how everything shapes up between now and November. I may not vote at all for the first time since I've been eligible and that makes me sad.

  4. I'm with Kelly, although I can also say I will not be voting for Trump. I'll either sit it out or vote for the Libertarian candidate. I might be a bit more conservative than Kelly, with whom I grew up. But like her, I have a vast array of friends and acquaintances who lean much differently and who enrich my life. It truly takes all kinds.
