First part of the install

Opening on Tuesday.

I went with A3 on A2 foamcore.
To give an idea of the size. The top of the landscape ones is at 180cm or 6'.

  1. Ooo, nice! I clicked to enlarge and these are lovely! I'm thinking we might have seen a couple of those here, or a version of? Did you have to choose photos that haven't been show before (including your blog) or is this just whatever you want since it's your showing? How long will they be up?

    1. No, defo not the same, some from the same day right enough. I couldn't present as if they were published before. Well I could if it was very local, but certainly not on the www. :-)

The opening is for the 10th and they willbe coming down on the 31st.

  2. Did you mean to say 180 mm and 6" and not 180 cm and 6'? If the landscapes were truly six feet in width, those pictures would be 25 feet up in the air! I just googled and A3 is about 11 x 16 inches.

How many pictures are you displaying this round?

    1. 20 perhaps 30. But for certain 20. No the top of the ones orientated to landscape are 6' off the floor along their top edge.

    2. I understand now. I thought you were referring to the width of the picture and not the height off the floor.

  3. Oh exciting! They look very nice, and I suspect a heck of a lot less stress and work than the frames. :)
Do you have any type of sign or pamphlet that tells the photos' whereabouts? Or are most of the visitors familiar with the "where"? Is this in a new location for you?

    1. Ohhh yes, lots less stress. Other kinds yes, but not anything like the frames. I stressed more about them than the images inside !.

I'm going to put together a little info thingy. Maybe for each image. But certainly for the entrance.

I did a portrait. Actually looks OK if you discount the fellow in it :-).

Now is the difficult bit. Getting the word out. It's kinda out of the normal stomping ground of the people I know.

    2. You should share your portrait, Vince. Congratulations on your new show.
