An attempt at editing.

  1. Oh, that's a tough one. Trying to remove stuff behind what you want to keep is hard. What tools did you use? I have found that all the "removing" tutorials out there show how to remove stuff that isn't entangled in other stuff. They make it looks so easy. I have yet to find something like you've got here.
I personally like it with the branches behind the flowers as it adds some interest. :)

  2. Yeah, I know. I like the branches too, but I needed something to practice upon. The getting rid of the wood isn't that bad with the clone stamp. What's bloody hell is getting the background to blend with the other side. I'm fairly certain that there is a tool to help, but I've not found it so far.

  3. No doubt, the bottom photo is more exciting. I haven't gotten into attempting such editing.

    1. You can go a long ways on a 'later' phone these days. It's really quite shocking just how darn good it can look.
I know I can get it better.

  4. Both versions look good to me. I guess I'm not really bothered by the stuff in the background. For me, it just adds to the shot.

    1. The stuff in the mountain and a field line with a fir forest/wood. Because I focused so tightly on the Furze and the cherry the lense naturally blur's the background. But when I removed the wood of the cherry I had to replace it with something otherwise there would've been artefacts of the edit like a red pen on a manuscript.
