One thing !

I have gotten to the point where I just don't care who wins the US Whitehouse. But the one thing that's hacking me off is that the world will be inflicted with this same horseshit in two years time when the whole drama filled circus begins all over again. Gaagh

  1. Two years is stretching it for us living in the first in the nation to caucus state of Iowa. Generally there are people tossing "their hats into the ring" within about 18 months of tomorrow. I really don't mind the next three years because it is limited to mostly news that I can easily skip if desired. What I hate is the final year before the next election, usually several months leading up to the caucus and several months leading up to the election when the darn phones are ringing off the hook with robotic calls. We get six to eight of those a day and all that stops tomorrow. I can't wait.

    1. Happy peace then for the next while, at least.

  2. DON'T YOU DARE START TALKING ABOUT 2020 YET!!!! ;)
And just imagine how WE feel, if you're feeling that way with an ocean between you. I can't stand it! Luckily, because I don't have a land line anymore, I haven't gotten an election call, but I hear they've been bad. The pile of mail in the mailbox every day over the last month or so has been obscene...so many trees for stuff I don't even look at. I do very much care who wins, more so than ever before, but I will not watch the election coverage because it'll drive me nuts!!

    2. Yeah, it must be a form of hell. Oddly though, I think you ccan sorta let a lot pass you. We can't really for it becomes a part of the news.
I'll have a look at the link.

  3. It'll begin all over again in the back rooms on November 9th. In fact, I guarantee there are those already "exploring" future possibilities. Ugh.
