Val Doonican RIP

This man was the soundtrack of families on these islands before the advent of hundreds of TV channels. Weekly he'd have 20 million viewers, today if a show has 400,000 they would be ecstatic.

    I saw someone post on Twitter about this today, but they didn't elaborate and I wasn't familiar with the name. Thanks for giving me some reference here.

      He was someone that crossed age, but I'd say the sound of Bing Crosby and Perry Como except 20 years later.
