A bit sore.

A very good if sore walk this morning. Lots of drifts. Shallow ones, but enough to stress out the legs. :-)
Jessy had the time of her life.

Phone photo and exercise.

Blast Kimberly and her darn Fitbit for I'm now hooked on measuring my steps. I even went and bought a new phone since my old one was a bit dated. The new one is Android 5.2, so new until last November, So I'm still not up-to-date with the tech. I was a bit shocked at the quality of the image, and that I could seat the focus point on the 1/3 intersection if I wanted. Yes, it hasn't the resolution of my big camera but it shows why the point and shoot market that the major camera manufacturers made 80% of their money has vanished.

Designs in a Neolithic passage grave.

The early passage graves/tombs of which this is one are dated from 3700BC/BCE. Or 5716 years ago give or take. To put it another way, 1000 years older than the pyramids a fellow was making this Art.

Some images from yesterday's visit to town and a walk with the dog.

A week earlier the fence wasn't to be seen.

Jessy met this guy in the river park and bullyed him and batted him with her feet like Kimberly says her Rigby does. That was a first that I saw her at that game. What was certain, if she was around him for a day she'd have him jumping through hoops. She really was a bullying little thug.
I think this is an Apricot. I bought it for a plum about 5 years ago and it's been showing an excellent show of blossom this time of year. But since you need two trees to get fruit, I've none, and I keep forgetting to get a second.

It's been so dark here I needed to see something from last summer !.

Same place, same day. And 20 yards along but the sun went behind a cloud. (Why don't we say the cloud went before- in front of- the sun. )

Up and down to Dublin.

I can't use a higher resolution, but this is the piece just before I bubble wrapped and drove it to Dublin. It's 3 ft by 2 ft. And that frame was far more work than I thought it would be. I now have a day to tidy up my sheds and put the bit and bobs back in their homes. :-)

almost ready

This is a screen shot of my phone showing my steps today with one dog walk and an hour shopping.

You can see the difference the varnish made to the look.

More over-engineered picture frames

These are taken on my little Samsung and show the corners of the frame I'm making. I'm going with the Brutalist theme as it matches the image. Since this is a jury selection, I don't know if it will be accepted. Soo fingers crossed.
