Looks great! It did turn a shade darker which I usually expect with most types of varnish. I have a particular brand of polyurethane that I like to use because it dries perfectly clear and doesn't yellow with time. It has a milky white color to it when you apply it.
The way it works for me, the first time I build something it turns out good (most of the time) but it leaves me with a list of things I would do differently the next time. It is that second time I build something that I usually get my best results. I look forward to seeing your next frame.
Looks quite professional to me. Good job!
ReplyDeleteits gone a bit beeswax coloured !.
DeleteWe got to get you and Ed together. Good work!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It looks better in real life.
DeleteDo you like it? I do!
ReplyDeleteYes, but perhaps I should have burnt it a bit beforehand. Or maybe not.
