I can't use a higher resolution, but this is the piece just before I bubble wrapped and drove it to Dublin. It's 3 ft by 2 ft. And that frame was far more work than I thought it would be. I now have a day to tidy up my sheds and put the bit and bobs back in their homes. :-)
Good luck on getting jury acceptance!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteYes, good luck from me as well!
ReplyDeleteSorry I can't make it look as it should. And thanks.
DeleteWow! I hope we get to see it some day! The colors look amazing, in what I can see. :)
ReplyDeleteI think the colors look nice with the frame. I hope you're pleased, after all our two-cents worth.
What's the judging process? When do you find out? Good luck!
I think they are carried in and someone just says yea or nay. Then if something is borderline they would have three people. The show has 3000 pieces so it's not exactly a one man show :-). I saw some there with bare canvas, no frame.
DeleteAnd thanks.
I guess there's two schools of thought on framing. One being no frame will show off the print without distracting from it, the other being a good frame can make a print just work. Who knows what the deciders will want.
